About
We are a craft brewery located in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, Australia.
We only use Australian ingredients so no large footprint from shipping grains and hops from the US, UK or Europe.
There are tons of exciting Australian hops available, both in pellet form and as fresh hop flowers from Australian small scale farmers.
We also grow several varieties of hops right here at the brewery.
Our hop garden is well established with some of our own hops making it into every Brew Mountains Beer.

Although we are not carbon neutral a great effort goes into brewery efficiency. Electricity for pumping and for the cooling of fermentors comes from our solar array.
Our cooling water is recycled with some of it being pipped down to the hop garden so nothing is wasted.
